A New Year Is Before Us!

A new year is before us! It is the eighth year of the 21st Century. As you know, eight is the number of new beginnings. In this New Year, the eighth year, we have unlimited possibilities for new beginnings in every area of our lives. God says He is making everything new. We dare not miss this opportunity to rid ourselves of all the old stuff that has been blocking our blessing and keeping us from walking fully in all God has for us.

There are at least seven areas of our lives that constantly need to be renewed in order to line up with God’s perfect will. We are to be made new: spiritually, physically, relationally, professionally, financially, emotionally and in our stewardship of time, talents and treasures. Even when we think we are doing our best and are at the top of our game, God always raises the bar. He wants to take us from strength to strength and from glory to glory!

The church stands poised, ready to help you make a break with the old and a fresh new start in the following ways. The Hope Institute has classes in each area.

As a new member, you want to begin the year by completing New Member Orientation Classes.

Spiritually, if you need a fresh start, commit to attending worship services every Sunday, Bible Study on Wednesdays where the focus is Prayer. We have Intercessory Prayer every morning in the Chapel at 6:00 a.m. and on Saturdays, the men pray at 6:00 a.m. and the women at 7:00 a.m.

Physically, if you need to make a new beginning, join an aerobics class offered through the Hope Institute or join Weight Watchers.

Professionally, making a new start as an entrepreneur is made easy by hooking up with Christian Business Leadership Network, and taking advantage of the wonderful courses designed to sharpen and strengthen your business acumen.

Financially, if you want to get your money straight, check out the Crown Financial Class offered through the Hope Institute, designed to teach you biblical money management principles and skills, help you get out of debt and build wealth.

Relationally, if you want to take your marriage to the next level, become a satisfied single in this season of your life, or become Golden as you age; OR, if you are a Transformer (God’s man), a Daughter of Destiny, a youth, young adult or college age person, or a child that is learning to walk in his or her destiny, we have a ministry just for you.

Emotionally, if you want to be healthy, make an appointment with one of our wonderful counselors through the Keys of Hope Ministry!

Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure! If you want to “Improve your Serve,” there are 50 different ministries designed to give you an opportunity to use your unique gifts and abilities to impact and transform this world into the Kingdom of God.
